Stay In Your Own Lane

Updated on June 30, 2015

Okay so this topic is so relevant. With everything going on and constantly watching others around you progress you probably have began to compare your lifestyle to others and try to figure out what they are doing so you can do it too! But sometimes what they are doing isn't meant for you. Stay in your own lane. God's plan for them is not his plan for you. Remain patient and faithful. Stop worrying about what the next person is doing and focus on what you are doing. You are going to make mistakes, but we all do. All that matters is how you jump back from your mistakes.

Another thing to work on is who you tell your issues and shortcomings to. Lately I've been realizing that most people don't really care and just want to have something to use against you. Most times people don't even have solutions. I'm learning to just keep most things to myself and take my issues to God. I just don't like how judgmental others are when we all have sins. Like don't look down on me just because I sin differently than you! What hurts the most is when those that are supposed to love and support you the most are constantly bashing you and putting you down. But you can't let others opinion of you and actions toward you dictate who you are and what you are worth. Nobody knows what you have in your mind. Just stop judging others until you actually get to know them. The thing about potential is that everybody has it, but nobody can see it. Have y'all ever noticed the person you least expect usually ends up surprising everybody. Don't sleep on nobody. Be nice to everyone even if the treatment isn't reciprocated. What you're ultimately fighting is spirits, not people. And the only way to win that battle is with God. Continue to be nice and do the right thing. I promise God will handle them for you. It's gotten to the point where I was having a hard time with one of my co- workers and I would pray to God about the person and I began to see a whole attitude change within that individual towards me. It was crazy, supernatural is a more appropriate term but I truly appreciate how God can come in a situation and turn it around completely. All you have to do is put your trust in him.

I know it can be hard but remain focused on you ad the goals you have set for yourself and you will see how everything begins to come together for you. God has something big planned for you and what you are going through only lasts for a season. In due time you will be back on top. For the time being continue to pray, live, laugh, and learn. It'll all be worth it in the end. Stop counting your troubles and count your blessings because your situation could be worse. Like always, I appreciate you taking the time out to read my blog and the best is yet to come! Remember you are beautiful and God love you!

Until Next Time,

Tierra Navia
